Our Story
Glenn Family Crafting is a small, family-run business built around making things that last. For nearly a decade, our family has been building garden boxes for home gardeners who want something sturdy, simple, and well made.
We started by building boxes for our own use and for friends, taking inspiration from designs we saw other gardeners using successfully. Over the years, we’ve refined that basic design into a standardized system that allows us to build strong, long-lasting garden boxes efficiently while keeping pricing reasonable.
Today, we continue to build each box by hand, right here in Central Oregon, with the same focus on quality, consistency, and honest communication that we’ve had from the beginning.
We’re grateful for the many returning customers who come back to us year after year. There is no better compliment than to deliver a box and see a collection of them already in use!
Our Approach
We believe good garden boxes don’t need to be complicated. Our approach is built around a simple, proven design that prioritizes strength, longevity, and ease of use.
Rather than offering dozens of styles or materials, we focus on a small set of standard sizes and consistent construction methods. This allows us to purchase materials in bulk, build in efficient batches, and deliver a reliable product at a competitive price.
Every box is built to order using pressure-treated lumber and galvanized hardware, assembled by hand, and checked for consistency before pickup or delivery. The video below offers a behind-the-scenes look at how our family builds garden boxes from start to finish.
